Local 2 Ways is a multi-course beer dinner that brings together two different culinary minds for one memorable meal. Let's meet those minds. (Normally we'll write a little bit about our culinary pals but the Haute Dish website is just too good to pass up a little copy 'n paste rip-off.)
"Raised in the culinary hot bed of Aberdeen, South Dakota Landon Schoenefeld was quite obviously predisposed to having a refined palette and passion for haute cuisine. While honing his skills at local upscale eateries such as Scottie’s Drive-In, Shoenefeld’s inherent passion for food began to fully take form. After quickly scaling to the summit of Aberdeen’s culinary mountain Schoenefeld left his native land in search of new and greater challenges. It was this inherent drive that brought him to Minneapolis." As you surely know, HD promises modern takes on classic midwestern cuisine. We can't wait.
Brooklyn Brewery's House Chef Andrew Gerson has spent 10 years in kitchens on both sides of the pond, advocating for food trucks, running his own pasta company and getting his Masters in Food Communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciencs in Pollenza, Italy.
This is not just a dine and ditch, however. A dollar of every ticket sold will go to benefit Land Stewardship Project.
The chefs are currently hashing out the menu but check back soon for the score. If you trust us completely then get your reservation by calling the restaurant at 612.338.8484.
