Local 2 Ways @ Swift's Attic

IT'S OVER - We came, we saw, we feasted. Check out what the Austin Chronicle said here.

Local, 2 Ways is a multi-course beer dinner that brings together two different culinary minds for one memorable meal. Let's meet those minds. Swift Attic's Mat Clouser is known for boundary-less, shareable, umami-laden feasts that can take you somewhere slightly exotic in a familiar vehicle. Brooklyn Brewery's House Chef Andrew Gerson has spent 10 years in kitchens on both sides of the pond, advocating for food trucks, running his own pasta company and getting his Masters in Food Communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciencs in Pollenza, Italy. For The Mash's first edition of Local, 2 Ways, these two talented chefs will combine their powers for good. Some of the dishes are some of Mat's greatest hits. Others are from Andrew. And at least one dish is a co-creation.

Enough talk. Here's the menu.

Raw Maine diver scallop "tiradito," cucumber sorbet, aji amarillo, red Hawaiian salt.
w/ Brooklyn Sorachi Ace

Warm brussels sprout salad, parsnip puree, candied olives, golden raisins, preserved lemon vinaigrette
