Local, 2 Ways is a multi-course beer dinner that brings together two different culinary minds for one memorable meal. Let's meet those minds. matchbox Food Group's Shannan Troncoso has been an integral part of one of the busiest casual eateries in Washington DC. Brooklyn Brewery's House Chef Andrew Gerson has spent 10 years in kitchens on both sides of the pond, advocating for food trucks, running his own pasta company and getting his Masters in Food Communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciencs in Pollenza, Italy. For The Mash's first edition of Local, 2 Ways, these two talented chefs will combine their powers for good. Some of the dishes are some of Shannan's greatest hits. Others are from Andrew. And at least one dish is a co-creation.
