Mash Bash with Merchandise and Lower

At the end of the day, The Mash is a festival. And what festival is complete without a soundtrack? Certainly not this one. That's why after a full week of feasting on good food, expanding our minds at panels and classes, and filling our bellies with delicious brews, we celebrate our last evening in town with a Bash; a Mash Bash. We're bringing the sound with Danish punk band Lower and genre-smashing underground heroes Merchandise and the fury with Brooklyn-local video artists Nuit Blanche New York.

The show is free, so spend your cash on the food truck outside, Brooklyn cans at the bar and our special-edition apparel collab.

"Lower’s debut, Seek Warmer Climes, is a frenetic and deeply intense record, one whose sonic layers and emotional weight both drive the uncertainly forward and threaten to crumble the whole proceedings under them." - PopMatters

"Rather than nudge themselves toward the center by subtly sanding away the edges of their texturally dense art-pop epics, on After the End, Merchandise catapult themselves to the rightmost reaches of the dial, and, in the process, transform into their idea of what the archetypal mainstream rock band should be—which is actually so far off the mark from what mainstream rock actually is in 2014 that it positions Merchandise as far away from centrist pop-culture as they were when they were playing gigs in storage units." - Pitchfork
